A PEACE Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of your PEACE;
where there has been hatred, HELP me sow LOVE;
where there has been injury, HELP me pardon;
where there has been doubt, HELP me GIVE faith;
where there has been despair, HELP me BRING hope;
where there has been darkness, HELP me SHINE LIGHT;
where there has been sadness, HELP me BRING JOY.
O DIVINE, grant that I may seek
to console,
to understand,
to LOVE,
to FORGIVE.
FOR it is in giving that I receive,
it is in pardoning that I AM pardoned,
and it is in dying that I AM born to eternal life.
Amen.
